My work. Plain, but I like it.
joejoejoejoejoe8 proudly presents to you

Good night!
To anyone who thinks I ought to be studying for the trials instead of doing this, my mom thinks so too. Heck y'all!

On a non-football related issue, today was an amazing day. Unfortunately, I cannot say much because it is VERY private, but to whom it may concern, I loved it. Thank you =)
I'd really like to repeat today. Seriously, if only it happened sooner. Oh well, you can't have everything in life. But then, I'm just glad I met you. You really mean something to me.
I'm really tempted to upload pictures but, I can't. Sighs.
By the way, I would really appreciate it if this post is not mentioned on the cbox. Please don't ask me what its about, I'm writing it here so I can look back in the future and remember this day. Forget what you just read. Thank you! (I'm serious)
-5:40 AM
Dear Reds,
First of all I'd like to apologise for not having been back in touch sooner, but I needed to take some time to take on board all the recent changes and then to put down these words for you.
I'm sure you will understand.
I would rather this be a letter of thanks and gratitude, not simply a goodbye.
Yes, that's right, gratitude, because that is the word that best sums up my feelings for you all.
Taking the decision to change clubs hasn't been easy. Not easy at all.
I've experienced three fantastic years at the club and in the city. Three years in which together, the fans and the team, we have accomplished some fantastic achievements, and I'm sure that these successes will continue to be repeated in the near future.
You know that I like a challenge and that I don't just settle for second best.
Back then Liverpool Football Club gave me the opportunity to be part of an ambitious plan to put the Reds back at the summit of the game.
I think that together we managed to achieve that.
As I said, I do like challenges and in spite of the fact that at that time I was playing for my home town club, one of the biggest in the world, I wanted to be a part of that project that was being presented to me by Liverpool, and so I accepted the challenge.
Now, after three seasons in the Premier League and having won some major trophies, the chance came up for me to return to La Liga and be part of a new project at a club I already knew.
The idea of enjoying things in a Spanish club like we experienced together at Liverpool over these last three years appealed to me, and that's why I accepted the offer.
I want to thank everyone working at Liverpool Football Club for how well they have treated both my family and I, making us feel at home from the very first day to the last.
I also want to thank the management, coaching staff and directors for the opportunity they gave me back then to be part of such an important and well-loved club as Liverpool. A club which has helped me to grow as a footballer and where to date I have enjoyed the biggest success of my career.
Without a doubt, this success has been possible thanks to the outstanding group of players with whom I've been able to share a dressing room over the last three seasons.
I'm not going to mention anyone specifically, because I think that the secret of this team's success has been exactly that: nobody wanted to stand out above the rest and there has always been a great togetherness in the squad, which made it into something more than a group of players, it was a group of friends.
Thanks to all of you for your help and your friendship.
I've left until last the thank you which for me is the most important: Thank you to the supporters.
Your support allowed me to settle quickly at both the club and in the city, and you made me feel really at ease with you all right from the word go; that's the kind of help that you notice most of all during the difficult times, of which there have been a few during my time here.
I'd like to especially thank you for making up a song for me and you should know that every time I heard you singing it, it was like an extra injection of strength and motivation, even helping me to overcome pain occasionally during a game.
Your unconditional support is the thing that ensures that this team manages to pull through in the most difficult circumstances; and I can assure you that the whole squad is aware of this and thanks you for it.
A football club isn't just made up of players, coaches and directors. More than anything else it's the supporters who make a club, and that perhaps is the ingredient which best distinguishes Liverpool Football Club from every other team. The supporters.
Because if one thing has remained obvious to me after these few years, it's that with supporters like you, Liverpool Football Club will never walk alone.
I really hope that the club wins lots of major trophies in the future; I'll be following it all from a distance, with the pride that you can only get from having been a Red and played for the home team at Anfield – a ground that every football fan must visit at least once in their life.
Thank you for everything. Yours most sincerely,
Your friend, Luís García

The bloody letter made me emo. Once a Red, always a Red.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
Help Athletico qualify for the Champions League, and come back to Anfield.

This. Is. Anfield.
Come home!

OK I just told my dad about my aquarium plan.
Joe : Dad, there's this fish shop near college which is selling a 3 foot aquarium. Quality stuff, only 67 bucks.
Dad : So?
Joe : I wanna get it. Can?
Dad : For what? You already got a good one. Plus, you buy this one then where you gonna put your current tank?
Joe : ... (stunned) , um, I think put in the storeroom la. Can use as spare in case need to store sick fishes.
Dad : Then where you gonna put the new 3 foot tank? Your computer table isn't gonna fit.
Joe : Put outside the room. There got space.
Dad : Cannot. Your mom won't like it.
Joe : Then I find space in my room la.
Dad : Why you want to waste money like this?
Joe : Haih..means bottom line I can't get it?
Dad : No.
Fuck laaaa. Never mind, I'm determiined to get it. Operation Persuade Dad 101 shall commence. Anyone out there who can help think of strong points I can use to persuade my dad?

I AM EXCITED!
Why you may ask? Because - 1.) I'm getting a new aquarium. A 3foot glass aquarium (RM 67)! What a bargain. Most of you prolly don't know I'm into aquatic animals ( eels, fish, crabs ), so with a 3 footer aquarium, I plan to make it look like this.
Just throw in some small fishes, shrimps, and a couple of eels. Perfecto. Total cost would be around...RM 150-180. No more expensive lunches for me =( but trust me, it'll be worth it! Because - 2.) Liverpool Vs Chelsea on Sunday, 11pm. Somehow, I got a feeling its gonna be one hell of a good game, and Liverpool will win to make it sweeter.
Because - 3.) I'm going shopping tomorrow at KLCC. Yes call me a pussy but I'll be shopping with my parents, which means an all-expenses paid shopping spree. Apparently, they're not happy with me going to college in short pants.
Because - 4.) Law trip on Monday. I don't know why I'm getting all excited about this trip when none of my friends give a shit. Hope it won't be sucky.
Because - 5.) I just found a RM30 reload card! Woooots! I should go to the field more often.
Because - 6.) The holidays are here! But I'll be going back to college everyday to study in the library with my college mates. STUDY!
OK, feeling a little dizzy now. Off to bed. 'Happy' holidays people!

OK first of all, sorry for the lack of updates. Been extremely busy with things that have been happening. Psychology proposals, Flatout2, Maths, driving lessons with Pei Xia, dinner at Jalan 222, etc.
And fuck Astro. The Champions League match between Toulouse and Liverpool was supposed to start at 10.30, but when everyone tuned in to watch the friggin game, fucking Astro decided it'll be funny to 'not receive signal from the source'. Worst of all, the said it'll be DELAYED. Okay I thought, delay. I can take delays. I waited. And waited. And fucking waited till 12.40. Yes thats TWO FRIGGIN HOURS. I got pissed, and called Astro.
Joe : blablabla ( not important )
Astro : Oh, the Champions League on channel 80? Sorry we won't be showing the game.
Joe : OMG you kidding? Then why the hell are you saying its delayed? I've been waiting blablabla!
OK heck that, driving lessons part now. On Saturday, I sent Pei Xia home. And since I had time to burn, I let her drive.
Note : She does NOT have a driving license, and has NEVER driven a car before!
OK so naturally, she was excited. And she screamed her nuts off when the car started moving. But overall, good experience. For her anyways ><
Had dinner at Jalan 222 on Wednesday. After driving with Pei Xia again, we decided to hook up with the rest of the L4-ians for dinner. Someone suggested Jalan 222, so off we went. Met up with Zkit, Thomas, Yee Chien, Pei Min, Melanie and Renee at AC before heading off. Dinner was good, but not filling. Sighs...
Last day of college today. Hung back and decided not to go home so early. Drove Derek to the KTM station, rushed back to college to get my Psychology proposal, fetched Thomas home and lepaked in his car for a while. Went joy-riding in his car. Another licence-less driver, but at least he passed already la. Just waiting for his P plate. Dear Thomas, please read and be hopefully the info below can be of use to you. =p
1.)Jalan Sehala means it isn't a 2 way road.
2.)BERHENTI means STOP.
3.)Turn slowly at junctions.
4.)Use your signals, don't be like me.
5.)Lock your car when you get down next time.
Lastly, I was blog-visiting a few minutes ago and I stumbled across something quite interesting. And yeah, I don't play Magic either but hell, its cool. I tried it, so should you!

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
Till then, goodbye!

My crab is going to be adopted by either Zhun Kit OR Adeline. It depends. But Zkit threatened to kill my crab today, and Ade.. no comment.
No sleep tonight again. Fucking psychology proposal to be done. I knew I should have done it last night but.. I was busy. yeah.
Oh by the way, the class blog is getting damn havoc. A minimun of 5 posts a day! LOL awesome awesome. =) Jason's party tomorrow night. Prolly gonna sleep there for the night. No updates for the next few days. See ya!

Best piece of news I've heard today : Drogba to miss Liverpool encounter. WOOOO! *multiple back-flips*
On a different issue, my crab is going to be adopted. =) Adoptee's name is undisclosed as yet because she can't confirm. Interest is there tho =)
fingers crossed OK here's the emo post I promised you guys. Enjoy my emo-ing.
Diu Lei!!!!!
Sorry for the immature act. Anways, that gesture goes out to
every single L4 student who made me look like a fool today!
All my emo friends out there! Relax, kick back and enjoy life!

-11:07 AM
I have failed myself. I DID NOT complete my fucking report. I DID NOT FUCKING COMPLETE THE REPORT!
Heck it, its not even graded. Why am I even doing it? Oh, cause I'm feeling kiasu.
Anyways, I'll finish the report tomorrow in college since I'll be having a 3 hour break. Hopefully Derek wakes up in time to meet me at The Web. Big day tomorrow if you know what I mean. *hint hint* LMFAO only one person understands what I'm up to. And the fella's prolly asleep now.
Hunger + guilt = shovelling tons of food into big mouth. So here goes. Good night!
ps : I'm looking for a new owner for my pet crab. His chick died 6 months ago, and I think he's feeling lonely. Pre-requisite for adopting my crab : You must own at least another crab! Preferably female crab. If no one adopts him by Wednesday, I'll be driving to the nearest beach with me dad to set him free. SIGHS someone please adopt him.
-2:44 AM
Tonight, I will finish my Psychology report.
Last night was pretty anti-climax. Liverpool-Feyenoord was quite dull, apart from the occasional hard tackle. Drenthe is one kick-ass dude. He has talent but the way he plays makes people wanna hit him hard. He needs anger-management therapy. DUDE its just a freaking friendly! He almost killed Gerrard!
Sorry Kuyt didn't score. Home club and all that jazz..what he got in the end? A fine goal disallowed!
Y'all know I have fishes in my room right. I've got 2 aquariums, 1 fish tank and 1 crab tank. Yes crab. However, I got home from college just now, went to my room, and guess what I saw. MY FUCKING FISH COMMITED SUICIDE!! Dumbass jumped outta the tank and was crispy dry when I got home. Sighs you will be missed, stupid fish. =(
I watched Evan Almighty already. Not as impressive as Bruce Almighty but its still worth your 2 hours. I got the DVD by the way =) Sri Petaling pasar malam la, what you expect? Everything also got.
The awesome Honda Civic Type-R was released in Malaysia recently. Only 60 units, and all snapped up. Sighs.. Sexy at its best!

Went to 1U with my classmates today. Met Pei Xia first at Gap/Guess (?) before heading off to look for Michelle, Yee Chien, Renee, Renee's boy & the birthday girl
at Coffee bean. Waited for a while for the rest of them to turn up, then went makan at Chillis. Amazing 2hours there! Actually, nothing amazing, just a hell load of laughter. No kidding. People at Chillis also gonna go ''wtf-are-these-people-doing'' when Keefy & I took turns 'satisfying' the birthday girl YeePei.
After eating, Zhun Kit tagged along with me to look for a CD for me pal. Went to 4 different music stores in search of ONE freaking album, yet they fucking don't have it! DON'T YOU PEOPLE LISTEN TO TAKING BACK SUNDAY!?
Re-joined the class at British India. However, we were short on time, so we had to cut the Redbox idea. Lucky people =p
''Bowling lor,'' someone said. Everyone nodded then we went bowl. Actually, shouldn't have bowled cuz some people didn't bowl, which made it seem like they weren't enjoying themselves. =( BUT, some people decided to camwhore more than bowl. I tried to ignore them and concentrate on the game. However...

Michelle & Joe

Pei Xia & Joe (yes I look stupid )

3 camera's OK! I didn't know where to look
Guys, be jealous. Be very jealous because...

I'm PIMPIN IT YO!
There are waaaay more pictures, at least another 30 pictures. I don't have them all now, but I will get them here =)

WEEK IN REVIEW Monday - The start of our Charity Fair thing. Classes ended at 4, and my first assignment : fetch YeeChien & Kenneth to Pei Xia's house for preparations. Then, genius said she wanted to go home first, and it'll only take a while. So I thought, OK, won't take long. I kept asking for directions cuz I didn't know how to get there, and she thought she damn smart, can play with ipod while directing me. Halfway up the flyover, classic moment I tell you, her eyes open kao big and goes ... ''eh not this way laa'' So had to detour, and then only head towards Kota Kemuning. Then again, wrong turn. So ended up at my place. After my house, off to fetch Michelle from Bkt Jalil station. THEN, detour to college to lead Anna and Li Ling to Yun Lings house. DETOUR first to Thomas' place cuz he left his house keys in my car, hence his 3 hour wait outside his house with his dogs. Finally, reached Yun Lings house. Worked like shit, became taxi dude even more, and got 1 hour of sleep.
Tuesday - Charity day. Work like bollocks, got sunburnt, lost weight, loaded my body with sugar, saw chicks having fun in our Limbo stall *grrr*, had ice kacang x2, met up with old pals, almost crashed x4 (sorry mel ), emo-ed a little, slept.
Wednesday - Bummed around college. Literally. Realised the song 'Brooklyn' by Taking Back Sunday is so damn meaningful.
Thursday - No highlights. Only went to Pyramid during our 3 hour break with Renee, Michelle & Yee Chien. Had Baskin Robins for the first time ( yes, laugh ) then gossiped, then went to Nando's for lunch. Makan already, went back to college JUST in time for Legals quiz. Sighs.. & did a stupid thing by agreeing to take part in a Focus Group for Psychology.
Friday - Got back Legals Assignment marks. OK I guess. Not what I wanted, but hey don't be greedy. Went for Psychology Focus Group meeting. Was better than what I expected, at least I had fun. BUT, my classmates all went and watch Simpsons and freaking left me behind. Oh well..
Spent time in the cafeteria with Pei Xia, Emily Muthusami a/p Subramaniam, Renee & Yee Chien.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Man Utd signed a 9 year old kid. I was like, so what? Big ass deal. Until I youtube-d him, and ohmygod! WTF man he plays better than me! In case you can't find it, here it is. http://youtube.com/watch?v=hG47FDenyXw
- Simpsons is one helluva great movie. All jokers should take inspiration from those bummers.
- Weekend is here. However, I'm grounded. Class party for Yee Pei's birthday on Saturday at 1U, hopefully I'll be able to make it. If not, I'll be online with Pei Xia who's also grounded XD
- I'm over her. No more furious heartbeats when I see her in the corridors/stairs. I'm back =)
