this amuses her
So biebs arrived early in the morning and off we went. Just out of Jalil, she finally coaxed me to turn around and go home and change because we wore 'too similar outfits'. Layan her la, went home and gave parents a weird-ass excuse why I'm coming home and changing. Lucky they fell for it!
When we finally arrived the zoo at 9, we saw a whole hunch of school kids and we were like 'omg are we gonna be the oldest kids here?!' We decided whatever la, we've planned this for like a week or so and we ain't gonna miss it.
spotted this. discrimination in our national zoo. le sigh
Went in and the first 5 cages were all full of monkeys. Then came the fishes, hippo's & penguins. Kinda pathetic la those 3 exhibits - non decorative tank, 3 hippo's in a SMALL enclosure, and 2 penguins in a BIG enclosure. Malaysian management, people.
Then after the penguins, we arrived at the much-anticipated(by me) Aquarium. Was pretty impressed by that, quite a large variety of fishes available. But towards the end of the walk it seemed dull because they kept on displaying similar/same fishes. And alot of common-aquarium fishes, I was expecting more exotic-non purchasable-rare fishes. Stop whining la joe pfft.

'Lost'
Selepas Aquaria, kita tiba kat haiwan haiwan lagi. Saw wild boars (Pumba according to her) and a bloody lazy tapir. Lame joke moment :
PX : Damn attention seeking wei this tapir sleep right in front of the enclosure, everyone can see him sleep.
Joe: Management asked him to do so, prolly people complain he doesn't make enough cameo's.
Fishes the size of my AsianDragon
By 11, we went for the Multi-Animal Show. Then the Malaysian Management decided to screw us over once again by starting on time! Everyone expected it to start late by AT LEAST 10 minutes but nooooo they had to start on time! But luckily we were taller than the rest of the audience - primary school kids - so we stood at the end and still managed to get a good view. A 'Multi-Animal Show' consists of 2 seals, one parrot, one eagle and a flock of birds. Credit to the seal though, he embarrassed the trainer by NOT obeying his commands.

the smart one
We continued walking after the show and came across crocodiles, elephants, lions, mountain goats, zebra's, a huge lake filled with birds, bats and a large variety of tortoises. Picture time!

the 'huge lake filled with birds'
interesting how these two can live in the same camp

Living on THE EDGE
Hi Mel =) We also came across this extremely big buffalo, which is packed with muscles. Our female friend fell in love with its muscular body. pffft!

She also liked this guy. pfft
Took forever to find these bloody fools called bears
Yeah, the bears were almost impossible to find. They were hidden so well dammit! Under a bridge! We searched all over looking for them and when we finally found them, ah bliss. She squealed so loudly the bear was startled. LMAO and it roared back at us I think. And she jumped!
After hunting the bear down we decided it was time to go. No joke, the zoo is amazing. Don't scoff when I tell you its good, you'd be surprised at how well they've designed the place and the animal habitats. This, my friends, is how you should spend your 10th month anniversary. See you!
